CD Reviews

Wihout Dion!
Martin 13 | Slovenia | 07/12/2005
(3 out of 5 stars)

"Compilation of songs that Carlo Mastrangelo (without The Belmonts) and The Belmonts recorded. Pre and after Dion and The Belmonts era. Some songs are really great. Little Orphan Girl, Baby Doll and Ring A Ling, all sung by Carlo are a must for all The Belmonts and Doo Wop fans. Some Belmonts songs like A Brand New Song and Story Teller should be forgotten."
LITTLE ORPHAN GIRL BY CARLO-BRILLIANT

(3 out of 5 stars)

"This cd is not a great cd when you think about it as a whole...but when you think about the cd with "Little Orphan Girl" by Carlo solo, it makes the cd really good. A Great "Runaround Sue" and Dion take off. And with an obligatto line like "Bom Da Hiddy Hidy Doo Wop Shoo Bop", you can't go wrong"

"I really love this CD and the Belmonts. It's my personal opinion that the Belmonts could have made it even without Dion. Now, fans of Dion don't have to throw rotten fruit at me, because I'm a Dion fan as well. I just think the Belmonts are underrated."
