CD Reviews

Good CD

"First of all, I respect everybodys opinion but it is obvious that you have poor knowledge of Merengue. Ramon Orlando is one of the greatest tropical artist ever. He is a Maestro in Classic Piano, composer, arranger, etc...he is kind of the McGyver of Merengue. He was the musical force behind Juan Luis Guerra(check JLG earlier CDs) He has done work for many tropical artist of merengue and salsa, for example: Juan Luis Guerra, Milly Quezada, Manny Manuel,Miriam Cruz, Sexappeal, Olga Tanon just to name a few. On the other hand, Los Cantantes is the name of one of his groups, which are "The Singers" in English. They are some of the supporting artist that have sang with him in his orquestra. He is the son of Tropical Music leyen Cuco Valoy. He is so talented that they call him "El Maestro" or "The Maestro" because of his gift for music, dominating genres like, salsa, merengue, bachata, baladas, rancheras and he even has a Tex mex-norteno CD. People,to rap it up, this CD is a compilation of songs sanged by his chorus, he does produce and writes the music. He is justa genious. I must admit, this is not his best work, but if you want to hear him sing and taste his tallent buy " El Maestro" CD and "Diciembre Party" just to name 2 CDs of his extensive carreer."
I love Merengue!

"I love this cd! I dont know what the first reviewer was talking about. This cd doesn't stink at all. Its great! The songs I like on the cd are: el camison, me tiene el chivo chivon, tu mujer, and bomba carambomba. The song "el venao" is okay but certainly not the best on the cd in my opinion. I originally bought this cd because of the song "el camison" but now that I have it, I like more songs than I thought I would."
