Together with well-known jazz pianist Don Grusin and other jazz/fusion artists like Oscar Castro-Neves and Brian Brombnerg, Leon Ware creates a jazz album with a definite soul timbre. There are standard jazz songs on the album like 'Round Midnight and Invitation, but there are also some orginals. I guess everyone in love with Wares work, will most certainly want to listen to Let Go, a new song. Or the title track Candlelight. The album sounds great, the songs are impeccable and Leon Wares voice is at its best. What can you say: the creator of I Want You and Musical Massage (1976) is still making great music!!"
