"I absolutely fell in love with this album from the very first listen. I always liked Army Of Lovers, though was not too fond of Alexander Bard's later projects Vacuum and Alcazar, but he really pushed the right buttons for me with this new venture. The music strikes you with simplicity of sound, which is rare these days when pop artists try to sound profound ending up sounding pathetic. There's a perfect recipe here - catchy melodies, very bouncy rhythms, tasty synth, great high-pitch male vocal and not-so-dumb lyrics (which was always the case with Army Of Lovers, though they have been often discarded as a campy act). It takes you back to the synth-pop 80s and makes you happy this style has made a comeback, which this project is a prime example of.

My slight disappointment (which still does not ruin the overall fabulous experience from this CD) is from hearing other people's songs in some of the melodies (most obvious being "Walking The Night" that sounds to me like "When Doves Cry" by Prince or "Conquering America" that resembles "Because The Night" by Springsteen, as well as a synth from "Here Comes The Rain Again" in one intro), but I just take it as a tribute to the 80s' music (after all, nothing could be more obvious than Kelly Osbourne's "sampling" of "Fade To Grey" by Visage on her "One Word" - still a great song, I think).

I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes happy catchy in-your-face pop music that makes you dance around, sing along and smile. I really hope Bodies Without Organs will continue on by releasing more songs and albums in the same or similar key."

Sweden never gives up making hit albums

"If you are a person who's familiar with what's been going on in European music markets in the past few decades then from one listen you should be able to figure that BWO is a combination of:



1. Sweden's ABBA for the most part

2. Germany's Modern Talking (mostly '80's not the late 90's + early 2000's reunion

3. Sweden's Bosson's style is all over this project



Alexander Bard, who happens to be the mastermind and the witness of all mentioned above, has managed to put together a project, which has the potential to become world-wide known not because the project is an imitation of projects that have been done in the past but because it simply makes your mind travel back in the time by enjoying the sounds of the modern times.



The album contains all the sounds that a pop and dance music fan can ask for. It is mellow with catchy refrains and most of all danceable. The lead vocalist (Martin Rolinski) definitely has the right voice and the technique for this newly born project.



From the perfect sound they've managed to put out there, I'd say all three members have met each other at the right time and the right place.



I strongly recommend "Prototype" to those that have an existing gap between them and alternative rock, punk rock, hip-hop."

"This album was designed for me to hate it. I love traditional instruments; Prototype clearly has no. For some reason I prefer female singers; BWO's singer is male, though he is sort of beautiful in a female way. Some of the songs have been played way too much on Swedish radio, so much that it makes you sick and tired of them.



Still, for some mysterious reason I bought the album, and haven't regretted it for a second. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! This is one of a very exclusive collection of albums I have listened to nearly constantly during a week and still I'm not tired of a single song, even the ones that have been played too much on radio have come to life again.



In the group are Alexander Bard, who was part of Army of Lovers ages ago, beautiful young singer Martin Rolinski and Marina Schiptjenko. The three of them make a genius group. So genius that they released their record in Eastern Europe (where they've made huge success) first and the last country that will take part of Prototype is Great Britain.



Buy this album! It's new, it's fresh, it's absolutely genius. One of my favourites ever, and if BWO ever decides to release a follow-up it definitely has a place in my album collection.



Why Sweden didn't BWO them to represent the country in Eurovision song contest is beyond me, since they're really successful in Eastern Europe and Eastern Europe have dominated the contest the last couple of years."
