A lot of style ...

"This CD is incredible. It includes lyrics and one of the funniest, refreshing layouts I've seen in awhile. The must verges from punk ("No, You Don't Even Know") to rock ("To Be Broadcast Live") to the disco-esque ("Disco") and includes a Chris Williamson cover ("Shooting Star") done in classic '80's rock fashion. If you enjoyed the lead singer/guitarist Kaia's self-titled album, you'll love The Butchies' remixes of the songs "Madame" and "Salamander" included on this CD. All three members of The Butchies have been involved with other bands and projects, but this trio is amazing together. Bass, drums, guitar, and Kaia on keyboards adds a new dimension to the old "three-piece band" syndrome. Get this album NOW."

"This album is amazing, I am at total loss for words. This is the first Butchies album I bought, and now it has forced me to look into buying the others. Kaia, singer-guitarist, has an amazingly peaceful voice at times, but when she screams she can totally change the feel of the song. She is amazing, and absolutely gorgeous and I think I have a huge crush on her! The only thing is that I wish her vocals were turned up more, she seems to be swallowed up during a few of the songs, but never the less, her voice still rings through. If you haven't seen them live, please go, you will have a fabulous time. They are great musicians!"
