Grammy Award winner Buster Williams has long been one of jazz music's most respected bassists, having played, recorded and collaborated with many jazz giants.
The rare occasion when the master records a solo album is always reason to celebate, and this particular outing is a sterling example. Recorded in 1978, this session reads like a jazz super-group of sorts. Hank Crawford, Hubert Laws, Eddie Henderson and Kenny Baron are the featured soloists augmented by a rhythm section featuring Ben Riley and Billy Hart on drums. One of the greatest jazz albums of the 70's is finally back in print - restored and remastered for CD.

"I bought this album on vinyl in England when it was first released back in 1978 & it was always a favorite. I just purchased the CD and after listening to it again for the first time in many years, i have to say the album is brilliant & it really is the ultimate Jazz album to kick back with to do some reflecting & enjoy the wonderful interaction with all the musicians.
Buster was in great form on this album as the leader & you can't go wrong when you have Kenny Barron (piano), Hank Crawford (alto sax), Hubert Laws (flute), Eddie Henderson (trumpet), etc. all on the same album!
