Synopsis

Product Description
A Rap impresario in the Dirty South, Bun B now splashes the streets with one of the year?s hottest compact discs, ?Legends?. Representing one half of U.G.K. (the most prolific Texan Hip-Hop group since the Geto Boys), Bun B has been making moves for years now. Since his unforgettable performance and video appearance on Jay-Z?s ?Big Pimpin?, it?s much more than just the Lone Star State that is checking for Bun B and his new squad The Middlefingaz. A special bonus ?Chopped and Screwed? disc make Bun B?s ?Legends? a must-own.

CD Reviews

Love Bun B and UGK and the whole deal but.......
Kay Dub | 09/21/2005
(2 out of 5 stars)

"For starters I love Bun B and Pimp C and UGK and all that but the thing that kills it is Lil Jon yelling "gansta grizzel" like 10 times in every track. I love lil Jon too, but they coulda done without it. also they just rappin over other peps beats, it just sounds like a mixed tape kinda deal. but heard rumor that bun b is bout to come out with an offical bun b record, not a mixed tape, or nothin like that, but only reason why i gave it two stars is just cuz they got tight flows on the tracks, but not their own beats, and lil jon coulda just shut the hell up on those tracks. just keepin it real. i wouldnt spend the money, id just wait for bun b to release his own offical cd, or till pimp c get out and ugk hooks it back up."
Pretty good Bun B presents album
G$ | B-More, MD | 08/18/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"For starters it should more likely be called Bun B Presents or Bun B & Middlefingaz Present album. Of the 20 songs on here, Bun B has 3 solos and is on 19 of them, and the Middlefingaz have 1 solo and are on 8 songs. Guests are all over the album and are all from the south except one of them. A lot of the songs are freestyles, and Lil Jon is yelling in the background "Gangsta Grizzills" on every song (which gets annoying after the 2nd time but he does it about 100 on here). Of course Bun B carries the album and it is good to here something from him as always, and it seems this is a lead up to his official solo debut "Trill" due in Septermber 2005. Of the 20 songs, 1 is a classic, 10 are good, 6 or 7 are ok, and 2 or 3 I Skip. As a fan of Bun B or UGK (or of some of the wacker commercial radio southern artists on here) you definitely want to check this out.
