CD Reviews

Hate Tattoos, but love this one!
William Taber | Indianapolis | 11/15/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Man, I need a new Tattoo,

One that tells the world about You!

Where should I put something new?

Maybe you should get one too.

Bugs continues the tradition of great Texas blues music. His vocals and lyrics are terrific on this disc, but it's his understated guitar work that get's it into my playlist with such frequency. His solos are short and sweet, but in their own way, perfect for the occasion."
Tasty New Stuff From A Legend

"This is great new stuff from a Texas Icon. Anyone who has seen Bugs perform will want to add this to their collection. Those that have not will wonder where they've been and how they can get more."
You MUST buy this CD

"Another GREAT CD from a GREAT artist. Songs from the heart. The lyrics and playing (vocals too) are top notch. This album should have been in the running for an award. I play it often. Be sure to listen to the audio liner notes at the end of the album. It gives you lots (22 minutes) of info on the songs. I have all of Bugs Henderson's music, and this ranks right up there as one of my favorites. If you ever get the chance to see Bugs live, don't miss him. An absolute treasure. Nice guy too. While seeing him play in Tulsa, I (and buddy Tom) had a chance to be a part of the back up vocals on the song John Henry that ended up on the album. I had to get back to St. Louis. I regret to this day missing that chance. I'm anxiously waiting for his next studio album.

Over and out,

Scotty "Dabluzman" Riley"
