CD ReviewsGenerally nice recording 09/20/1998 (3 out of 5 stars) "The recording of Ave Maria is beautiful. For lack of a better analogy, I would have to say that this piece is like lasagna - it's so delicious it's hard to screw it up. The recordings of the impromptu's are less than wonderful. They seem to lack a certain polish and brilliance, which does not do them justice. However, this CD provides a nice intro to Schubert. The cut of Ave Maria is worth the price of admisson alone."
