"This Bruckner 3 complies and amalgamates all 4 versions of the Symphony.

Marthe spent years trying to consolidate Bruckner's thoughts and finally succeeded in 2005.

This is a live recording from inside Bruckner's own church in St. Florian. The acoustics are imaculate, the sound production is of the highest level and the performance is a knockout!

I love the details of all the scores coming out in this lenghty 80 min version! Marthe also decides to place to Adagio right before the Finale to rank the work alongside the late Symphonies. It provides the impact neeeded to bring the work to a powerful and profound conclusion!

The liner notes have Marthe discussing the challenging process and Symphony itself as well as the Master's creative thoughts on composing. Very inspiring!

Very worthwhile getting especially if you love Bruckner and his Symphony No.3!
