Richard Crooker | Clinton Township, Michigan USA | 11/24/1999 (3 out of 5 stars) "As a big fan of Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, Mott and British Lions,I was very disappointed with the sound quality of this release. The "live" cuts have been transfered from analogue cassette tapes and it shows. The "rare" cuts are demo versions of the classics from the original 1978 release and sound pretty decent. I've been waiting years for the British Lions to release something on CD so that I could replace my bootleg cassette made from the 8-track (which actually sounds good, even with the fade-outs and fade-ins, but I've worn it out!).Please re-release the original studio version of British Lions. I'll be waiting! (Drive on! )."
