CD Reviews

This is nothing short of sensational stuff from Brian Tyler

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Last year I got hold of a promo score for The Lazarus Project (AKA The Heaven Project) and I was excited. It had some fx on it, but I could hear that this was a quality score. I asked Brian if this would every be released, but at that point, no one knew. It was finally released by Varese Sarabande and I couldn't be happier.

Simply sensation stuff from Brian Tyler. The moody guitar and the amazing sounds that Brian puts in this score is mesmerizing. Every tone has me crying for more, dreaming for more, wanting more and craving it all!

It starts off with the excellent 'Jaybird' and it only gets better. Brian Tyler knew where he had my from the start and kept me there, listening and dreaming. It just hits you in that sweet spot.

There's something nostalgic about this soundtrack as well as the sounds sweep across your brain. It's like you have heard it before, but not as beautiful. Brian Tyler is mostly known for his action efforts, but I truly love this version of him as well.

Brian hits me with small doses of great action while surprising me with pulsating beats of electronica and Bruce Springsteen like guitar.

I can't recommend this enough. Everyone should get this. One of Tyler's absolute best!"
