Oi, padre, what's with the synthesizer?

"Everyone who knows samba knows that Padre Miguel is the shiznit. This record, though, pales in comparison to his other work,, and the abundant synthesizers sap the roots right out of this otherwise rootsy music. Sure, there is a good deal of incredible cuica playing, but I really think that finding any other of his CD's is worth the search."
