"* oh my goodness! fallen star collection went in my cd player after I saw brandtson live here in harrisonburg, va and it hasn't left it since. sometimes slow and passionate, sometimes fast and playful, brandtson proves that age means nothing in the emo-indie-whatever genre. their sincerity at the show was enough to make me buy the album, and I don't regret it. Powerful vocals that have a bit of a whiny-ness but a perfect blend of pop. Picture a band with the intensity of mineral with some weezer thrown in. Lyrics that take me everywhere. This album belongs in your collection, especially if you are a fan of bands like mineral, weezer, jimmy eat world, the get up kids, promise ring, and sunny day real estate. enough said. *"

"wow... "fallen star collection" by brandtson... only a few other records have blown me away like this. tracks like "potential getaway driver" and "summer in st. claire" are beautiful enough to make you heart seize up. driving and melodic, this is a record that any rock/emo/punk fan should not be without. a somewhat stylistic departure from "letterbox", but very good nonetheless -- less rock, more roll."

"Brandston is a preatty good band but just like most new indie bands, they lack originality. This album borrows heavily from bands that have come before them like Mineral, Braid, and Sunny Day Real Estate. I'm not saying this cd isn't good, i really enjoy it, but don't expect it to blow you're mind because you've probobly own a ton of albums that sound identical to it."
