Ahead of their sophomore album, "Manic Ghost," to be released in the spring of 2009, this EP features the winter singles "OverSung" and "I'll Never Go To Hell" and a preview of the spring hit "It's Not Me, It's YOU." This west coast melodic rock band fronted by American Idol reject Dean-Anthony, a singer/songwriter with a soaring six-octave range that the band uses for good (rock) and not evil; the band builds a feverish arena rock sound around infectious melodies. The band was started in New York, while Dean-Anthony had the distinction of being the world's ONLY resident of the Empire State Building--he lived in his office, on the 28th floor, which doubled late night as rehearsal space. These guys write music about faith, fulfillment and redemption; the faith (in life, in love, in self) we often lose; the fulfillment we blindly hunt; the redemption we stumble upon but never expect to find; and the life we string together in between. After their edgy indie underground 2007 debut "The Pilgrimage of an Abstract Being", their ambitious sophomore album "Manic Ghost" will be released in the Spring of 2009.
