"I had these two albums on on vinyl when first released. Now they are availble on one CD. I highly recommend them. The better portion is the section on the Hattisburg Railway which was recording during an actual thunderstorm. No sound effects here. One can actually hear the rain and one thunderclap will make you jump out of your seat. Overall a great historical recording that should not be missed by anyone who has an interest in railroading in general, history of railroads, or a love for the wail of the locomotive whistle of a steam locomotive."
