Bosson is One In A Million

"Just by coincidence I came across the song "One In A Million". I loved it from the first time I listened to it and it wasn't long before I decided to buy the whole album. My initial concerns about not liking the rest of the songs were swept away before too long: the rest of the album is just as good, if not better. The album has two version of "One In A Million, one slow and one more upbeat. Especially the remix will stay in your thoughts a long time after listening to it, but the best part are the lyrics that make it one of the best love songs ever written. A+There are no less than 3 version of "I Believe" on the album. I like the original, but the remixes are a little too fast paced for me. It has a good potential to be a hit, especially the chorus. A-The third song of the album, "We Live", is perhaps the most catchy tune on the cd. When you're feeling down, it'll bring a smile on your face instantly. A"Where Are You" is a song about waiting for the right person to come along. It lacks the conviction of the other songs on the album and sounds a bit sadder, but sweet all the same. Not one of my favorites, but there is an awesome part near the end. BThe next song, called "Over The Mountains" builds on the same idea as "Where Are You", except that this time it's about actively trying to find that special someone. It sounds like it came straight from the heart. Great for a slow dance with someone you care about. B+"Holy In My Heart" is one of the more poppier songs on the album: it's hard not to move to the music when listening to this one. If you don't know the words it is hard to believe it's a song about a lost love. AThe next song, "I Don't Want To Say Goodbye" is about being cheated on ... ouch! You can feel the pain when listening to this one. There is a brief part later in the song I would have done differently, but all in all it is a great song! A+"Stay" is radically different from the other songs on the album. It doesn't have the same "smoothness" as the other songs on the album, which makes it an excellent break in the track list. AThe sappiest song on the album is probably "All Because Of You". It is smooth, sappy and the choir is a bit overused, but in the end it's still a catchy song. The accompanying cheerful music does get too much at times though. B+"Let Your Soul Shine" is one of the few songs that have not been written by Bosson. It is a good song, but I miss Bosson's way with words. B"This Is Our Life" has a great introduction with Bosson whispering the first few words. It is a well paced, well written song that will speak to hearts of lovers everywhere if it were to be released on single. A+The last song was a Very pleasent surprise: slow, sweet and sad at the same time and one that will stay with you for a long time. It has a great build up from the verses to the chorus and sounds better every time you listen to it. Listen for the rap near the end ... it is great! A+"
