CD Reviews

HAHAHA!

"Before I review this, I want to point out something I find hilarious. On the top part where it says "other people who shopped for this, also bought these," they have a bunch of patriotic music compilations included. Can you imagine the look on those people's faces when they put in their new Born Against CD, looking forward to a few patriotic hymns, then they get this? Wöööööööööö!Anyways, Born Against was a really good political hardcore punk band from New York. It's a great album. Buy it."
This is the greatest hardcore band, ever.

"No, seriously. I haven't paid attention to this music in 14 years or so, but I recently unearthed a tape with a few songs from Born Against on it and I forgot just how incredible it all was, all that time passed and chrous for "Mary and Child" still sets my blood to boiling.I guess the only people who'll ever see this are other 30-something dinosaurs like myself, so I'm likely just preaching to the choir, but on the rare chance you're someone who wishes they could find some of the best tunes of true oldschool hardcore, you could do alot worse than starting off with Born Against."

"For those that seek true, old fashioned hardcore - buy this album along with anything else by Born Against.

The world has come to describing this crap that sounds like a mix between slayer (don't get me wrong, gotta love Slayer) and the cure 'hardcore'. I will not sit here and list all of the bands that now posses this label, but for those who are interested in what REAL hardcroe is, do yourself a favor and go back to the source of where it started, and buy this album."
