CD Reviews

Better than a "Best Of"
John Engstrom | Dublin, CA | 11/11/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have always liked Bonnie Tyler's vocal stylings, but to me her biggest hits were like hair styles of the era: big, overblown, full of air, and not anything you would want to touch.

This album of rock covers, with tasteful orchestral backing, is PERFECT for Ms. Tyler. The music accentuates her voice, instead of trying to drown it out. You can hear her phrasing, her style, her.

The rendition of "Need Your Love So Bad" is worth the price alone.

Highly recommended."
Bonnie sings other artist's songs better than they do

"In my opinion this group of songs shows that if Bonnie had been given access

to songs of this caliber she would have become as famous as all these people whose songs she sings here became. Her rendition of Everybody Hurts has actually helped to heal some old lingering relationship wounds I've had. There isn't a bad song on the album. The City of Prague Philharmonic and her simply put this one out of the park. I rate it her second best album of all time. I suggest you get it while it is still available.
