Synopsis

Bone Crusher exploded onto the hip-hop scene with his aptly named 2003 debut album, AttenCHUN!. High-energy single, "Never Scared," which hit number four on the Billboard charts, became a mainstay on the playlists of hip-hop stations everywhere and knocked fellow rapper 50 Cent from the top spot on BET's 106 & Park video countdown, propelling Bone Crusher to stardom. Producer Jermaine Dupri signed Bone Crusher to his So So Def label and the rapper made his mark at the top of the Billboard charts for both R&B Album and Rap Album. Bone Crusher established his versatility with collaborations with fellow rappers Killer Mike, Chyna White and Lil Jon, acting, and even a record-setting weight loss on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club 4 that inspired his own fitness DVD, "Battle of the Bulge." To top that, when So So Def moved to Virgin Records, Bone Crusher started his own label, Vainglorious Entertainment, with his wife and manager, Aneesah Bray. Bone Crusher's first release on the Vainglorious label, Free, features his latest single, "Round."

CD Reviews

Buy AttenCHUN!! instead

"if you already have AttenCHUN!!, then your next best buy would be "Release the Beast", although that album doesnt come close to AttenCHUN. "Free" sounds like it was produced by Gwen Stefani or someone in the POP scene. EVERY song on "Free" sounds like a bubble-gum POP song. I wish I was kidding. Believe me, you dont want this album."
