CD Reviews

Brilliant Piano Instrumentals
J. de PLATER | Australia | 12/15/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"These Piano instrumental tracks follow the original songs closely and could be used as karaoke tracks... The acoustic Piano sounds nice and warm and the flawless playing makes it great dinner music. Highly recommended for any E.J melody fan."
Really nice instrumental piano covers of Sir Elton's classic
Prairie Fox | Lincoln, NE United States | 01/04/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I first heard this CD in, of all places, a sushi bar, and was surprised how nicely it complimented the relaxed dining atmosphere. I grew up with the originals and am often skeptical towards covers--"if it ain't broke, don't fix it, it was done right the first time." But a wiser me knows that good songs are good songs no matter the artist and, if done well, transcend musical eras and genres. Boko Suzuki's "classical piano" treatment does just that. Great for entertaining or just kicking back. A tribute to the talent of both men."
