When Bobby signed to GRP in 1981, he was the most exciting fusion guitarist on the scene since George Benson. These were the golden years of GRP and their sound still sounds vibrant. Bobby is also a talented vocalist and on 'Let It Go', he delivered one of the biggest Boogie tunes of the '80s still revived in clubs and on the rare groove scene. Both these albums have the sophisticated production sound GRP lavished on labelmates Bernard Wright, Angela Bofill, Dave Valentin, Jay Hoggard and Tom Browne.
