CD Reviews

OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!
Kelly Lane | VA | 11/20/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"A singer songerwriter genius! Another world leaps to life w/his haunting lyrics ala Woody Guthrie and unforgettable voice. A mixture of nostalgia, humor and hard edged reality. Of particular note is "Ayla", "My Father Painted Houses" and the stirring "Let Freedom Ring". Definitely one of the best talents in modern folk today."

""Martin again shows himself to be a world-class songwriter, with a profound gift for crafting scenes involving real people. With delicious harmonies and backed by young Jake Armerding (Northern Lights) fiddle, Ray Brunelle drummer and bassist, Kent Allyn, Martin explores some new musical colors".
