As a member of the Lost Gonzo Band he's been on countless recordings from Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Murphey, Ray Wylie Hubbard and then some. Livingston steps up to the plate and swings for the fences on this cool new album. Eliza Gilkyson duets on one track and Lloyd Maines turns in one of his best production jobs yet. Great original Austin-style record with plenty of Acoustic Guitar, Dobro, Steel, Hammond B-3, Fiddle, Accordion, Piano and even sitar & tabla on a couple songs. If you are a fan of the defunct Lost Gonzo Band, you will welcome the return of Livingston and his introspective, thoughtful songs. My children took one look at this CD and told me I was listening to hippie music. They're right--but it's hippie music updated for this century."
