Many mainstream Christian music artists create repetitive, empty, plastic music. Many listeners of Christian music (whether in church or from commercial sources) apparently have low expectations. Dylan rises about that complacency and puts his heart, mind and soul into producing good quality music that also reflects Biblical values. Although "Shot of Love" is not at the same par as "Long Train Coming" and maybe not quite as good as "Saved", it's still a great CD."
