"Bob Downes was a jazz flute player landing on Verigo Records, the best progressive label in the world, in the early 1970s.

This 1970 album reminds of a more aggressive, early Jetho Tull--bluesy jazz driven by sandpapaer giutars and Downes' flute.

The music is sraight forward but the playing is fantastic, the mix of jazz and blues being prime rib in early 70s progressve rock"
