Rock Hall of Famer Allen Toussaint alert!

"Allen Toussaint's Brickyard Blues is a composistion he wrote that was a hit for Frankie Miller and 3 Dog Night in the 1970's, and this version here is great with Allen himself singing. I'd add that some of the tracks are a lil too "lite" or "easy" jazzy for my goofy gutbucket groove tastes, but overall the spirit of New Orleans is in here."

"For some reason I just love the song "Don't mow your lawn". The combination of the chorus, the humor, the great bass, the clever schitck. Wish I could just buy that song seperately as an MP3."
