The unfortunate album

"I love every Blonde Redhead album except this one. There are a few nice aesthetical moments that are reminiscent of their earlier (fantastic) work, but otherwise '23' is so bloody dull and soulless that there is nothing here with which to actually connect. Every song sounds like movie credits are playing. I sure hope '23' was a fluke.

Better than a lot of other music available, but not better than anything else by Blonde Redhead."
