"First of all, I own other titles by Blank&Jones and in short I believe they are truly amazing. Yet, this production fell way below my good expectations. The other CDs I own feature their ability to compile an excellent trance mix. This CD, Relax (Edition 2), is very different from their CDs like "Trance Mix USA". Their productions on this CD, Relax (Edition 2), cannot even be compared to such. Therefore, if you are fond of their trance mixes, I urge you not to get this CD. You will be not be excited with what you would find.
To describe the music found on this CD, first of all it is very chilled out (A Little TOO Chilled Out). Honestly, much of the music found on CD1 of this two disc set doesn't carry a beat at all. This is not a continuous Mix but a track at once layout (Boring). The only song on CD1 I found very attractive was the one entitled "Cruzin'" - which can be compared to a nice downtempo jazz track. The other tracks I found on CD1 were a disappointment.
CD2, however, was very nice. It contains almost all the remixes of the tracks found on CD1 and they even carry a great beat. My favorite remix was "Loneliness".
Unless you want a few nice remixes of Blank&Jones productions, only then would I urge you to get this CD. However, it was almost like committing suicide getting this CD being that Amazon doesn't have a track listing of these CDs nor can you preview the music.
If it wasn't for CD2 with all the remixes, this CD would have been rated a ONE, but since CD2 eased my disappointment with CD1 to a degree or two, I rate this CD set a THREE.
I hope this review was helpful, and just to make it more helpful I will update this review (Soon) and give you a breakdown of CD1 & 2.
