"your first time with BTD Movements, you'll notice allusions to Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Coldplay, Soft Cell, U2, etc. your second time with BTD Movements, these influences begin to recede. your third time with BTD Movements, you realize it is a unique and amazing piece of work, and that the only relation it has to the aforementioned greats is that it can stand up among them."

"If you like The Maryonettes you'll like this - and vice versa. Slightly more "Pop" than my usual tastes, but only leaning in that direction, these songs have really grown on me.

This is better than 99% of the contemporary stuff out there right now. Well worth a listen!"

No rip-offs here.

"This is the band I've been waiting for. Black Tie Dynasty bring a new twist on indie rock with their latest effort. I've heard way too many Coldplay and U2 rip-offs in the last few years, but BTD bring their own sound into a seemingly overcrowded genre. I think this band has some staying power."
