Not Richard and Luke

"Ignore the previous reviewer, this is NOT an album by Richard D. James and Luke Vibert. Black Devil is, in fact, a Rephlex re-release of a classic disco record by French producers Bernard Fevre and Jackie Giordano from 1978. This EP is a disco masterpiece, a dark but rewarding piece of electro-disco that inspired both Metro Area and Kerrier District (aka Luke Vibert) - check these out if you haven't heard them as they're also excellent albums."
HAUNTING DANCE

"This is purely, and genuinely one of the absolute finest examples if not the finest of dark, gloomy seedy dance music...all that disco was meant to be before it became popularized and sugarcoated. It is additionally the sexiest music...no surprise from the french."
Clever hoax, not a rediscovered classic at all

"I couldn't believe anyone would actually buy the story that this is a recently re-discovered classic of 1978 disco. Funny, no disco fanatic around back then that I asked ever heard of it.
From the artwork, song titles and music... this is obviously a concept recording that screams 2003 retro-enthusiast."
