CD ReviewsMesmerizing indie folk from the Bay Area krisskraft | 07/08/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a classic album from start to finish. If you are a fan of Neutral Milk Hotel, The Microphones, and Cat Power, you will absolutely love this album.
The album features mostly acoustic guitars with minimal percussion and some lovely Rhodes, bass and Saxophone. Lyrically the album is prime example of the beauty in simplicity. Songs of love, memories, life and death. Folk music in the truest sense. The band also had a song on the Isota Records Singles Club compilation which ranks among their best. Highly recommended." |
