CD Reviews

One of the greatest overlooked bands

"I heard this band years ago while watching the movie scream, their song "Youth Of America" came on and i loved the singer and the guitar in the song.Years later i remembered it and tried to download the album but it was no where on the net so i bought it online.Let me tell you, i wish i would have bought it the day i first heard them cause its incredible. If you've heard "Youth Of America" and like it,i strongly urge you to buy this cd you will love it.Theres a few fast catchy tunes like "talk about me" and "inside out" that just rock, then theres slow melody driven tracks like "Heroine" and "My Gun" which sound kinda post-grunge and are excellent. One of my personal faves is "(Shes Always)Glowing" its just a great song, and so is the final track "The Ballad Of Johnny Love" is awesome with a great chorus. The rest is good too but thats the stand out tracks, why are you still reading this go buy it!"
Just your average '97 rock album!

"I'm just now getting into this cd here in '02 and it reminds me how fun the rock music scene was about 5 years ago. Birdbrain's "Let's Be Nice" is as an album full of good, fresh rock music. Anybody bored with the alternative/modern rock scene nowadays, should check out this cd to take yourself back in time to when the music scene consisted of such fresh sounds. Other good albums from back in the day to check out if you like this cd: Lazlo Bane's "11 Transistor", Ednaswap's "Wacko Magneto", Treble Charger's "Maybe It's Me", Huffamoose's "We've Been Had Again", and Wank's "Get A Grip On Yourself""
