"This is the first and possibly the last review I will ever make on Amazon. I usually read the reviews and wonder is this the artist writing his own review, or possibly their ever supporting parents trying to promote their nearest and dearest...anyway, back to the issue at hand...firstly you should know that I buy a lot of mix cds with some of my favourite and most recent purchases including: Layo and Bushwacka, Paris Lounge, Chicken Lips, Danny Kravitz, Dimitri from Paris etc, so as you can see I like funky house....anyway this cd is possibly one of the tightest mixes I have heard, with a very impressive track selection (most of which are completely new to me)...the first cd is the faster one, with the second being more chilled...the first cd starts with such a funky jazz based track that I reckoned that this guy had gone off the deep end and played his best track first and I was going to have to listen to the rest of the album playing catch up!...not the case...both cd's have a load of chunky tunes with music varying between funk, Latin, jazz, dirty beats with a load of surprise tracks like the one about mushroom trips on cd 1 with the male vocal reminiscent of the orb's little fluffy clouds...I should say at this point that this album is of subtle house variety which means this album can be fully enjoyed in any scenario, while its dance floor orientated its definitely not for the Judge Jules fans, a good comparison would be the Sancho Panza sound system at the Notting hill carnival...anyway if you like mix albums, do yourself a favour, buy this cd...it doesn't get much better!"
