Carolina bluesman, Big Ron Hunter sings his story while he plays an acoustic guitar. He uses the guitar like a drum and bass while creating almost a second voice. Ron calls himself an ''Overcomer.'' Handed over to an adoptive couple at a young age. His adopted father taught him how to make his guitar talk and promised him he?d go places if he learned to play it right. After years of playing, mostly behind the scenes as he raised a family he?s finally got the chance to get out there and make a name for himself. He?s made a lot of fans playing acoustic sets at the Blues Bash in Charleston where he did double duty playing electric with the King Bees and Nappy Brown. The songs he writes have been pouring out for years. He has stories to tell and messages to deliver. Ron pours his heart out when he sings and plays.
