Great 1950's style tie & suit rock'n'roll combo

"In the classic style of Bill Haley & His Comets or Boyd Bennett & His Rockets, The Big Six plays small combo jump blues and r'n'r. This cd mixes those 50's sounds occasioanlly with Roscoe Gordon influenced ska. The overall sound is very vintage, and enjoyable, and will make you want to jitterbug or jive, depending on weather you are a swinger or a rock'n'roller. This band from England is exellent and the cd should be acquired for fans of rock'n'roll who like it blended with jump blues, and lot's of screanin' & hollerin' saxaphone solos."

"These cats know how to get a house jumping. They do some covers of old Doo-Wop songs yet put a kick of fun and an extra beat for those of us who like our music with a kick. Great CD. Great live band. Watch out for flames!"
