Album Description

KastningSiegfried is a modern classical guitar duet, performing their own unique compositions. The Open Form series on the CD "Bichromial," are a set of 18 inter-related duet compositions for either two guitars, or guitar and baritone guitar. The music draws from such diverse influences as Anton Webern, Morton Feldman, Bartok, and even James Joyce and Jackson Pollock. The music is hauntingly beautiful and draws the listener into KastningSiegfried's sound world.
