Williams | 02/27/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "i think that bhagavan das might just be the tom waits of chant. as with waits, the first time i heard baba's voice, i was put off by it. as the days and weeks went by, i found that i started to crave the sound more and more. his style is not as musically conventional as someone like krishna das for example, but it is absolutely no less powerful. i highly recommend this album. i was hooked with guru bramha. radhe govinda bhajo immediately pulled me in with a sound not unlike waits' "bone machine" album. Jai Radha Madhava is another standout. i'll not waste more time writing as words do not convey the depth of this record. buy it!"
