Beverly's best yet!!!

"Beverly Crawford is back with a wonderful brand new album!! She back with new sounds without trying to hard to compete with younger and/or more contemporary singers, but by being what God has called her to be. She is a survivor in today's gospel industry; it's a blessing that she even came out with a 3rd album and even more a blessing that she's just keep getting better and better. This is a dynamite, versatile, and anointed 3rd project. She has more solid material than her previous albums and has more songs to which one can better relate to. One of which is the powerful "I Won't Go On" written but the great and anointed Donnie McClurkin. I cannot stop listening to this song not just because who it was written by, but because it's just anointed! We cannot make it without God, y'all!! Another one is "I'm Still Standing". I just love it. What a testimony. Another song I really like is "Farewell" which talks about how Jesus told His disciples farewell for now but it'll be no more when He comes back. Something to think about!! There's just an awesome anointing on this CD and something to minister to everyone.Musically, she also expands her boundaries w/ the Carribbean song "Your Name" and the hip-hip urban "Make Me". Listen to how the latter song was made; a song with substance behind hip-hop beats. She also co-wrote "Run to the Water" which happens to be the theme for WTAL 2001! You go girl! For those who like that live, church sound, she was wise enough to include the only live song "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus".Also, Beverly looks very pretty :). I really believe that through her, God is sending a TRUE message that the world needs to hear. So it's time to keep her in our prayers, not do or say things to tear her down. She IS an anointed vessel and one of God's children, and she doesn't seem interested in competing or outdoing anyone else. People, please go out and get this album. Overall, this is one of the hottest of the year that has great music with a lot of spiritual depth. This is one of the best albums of the year, of the decade, of the new millenium, and of all time. Sis. Crawford, keep on letting God use you and bless you. Continue to be a salt of the earth."

"Beverly Crawford with a studio project and only one live cut? For those of you who like the album that is all fine and dandy. However, for those of us who have followed Beverly since the days of Bobby Jones know that this is not her. It doesn't fit her style. Beverly is at her best when she is in front of a crowd in a live setting bellowing out heart-felt vocals and lyrics. Smooth Beverly just doesn't do it for me. It's just the same as Marvin Sapp's "Nothing Else Matters" project. He even said himself that he did not want to do that project and you saw that his current project is live. I think that Beverly needs to change labels and get back to what actually made her popular in the first place. That's the reason why the album really hadn't done that well and there's only been three reviews written on it. Sorry I had to write something bad about this project, but I am familiar with the label she is on and this label does not support their artist. Instead of sticking with what made her popular, they try to change her into a contemporary, urban gospel singer. Now the majority of my music is this type of music, but I do not want to hear Beverly Crawford laying down vocals on a hip-hop, r&b track. It's just like oil and water..the two don't mix. Now I know there are people who like this album and that's great. However, she has lost some of her following guaging by the response in some her concerts. I hope Beverly gets back to what made her popular(i.e.-"Marvelous", "Have a Talk With Jesus", "Just As Soon As I Get There", "Jehovah")."
