Just listening to the recorded samples will clearly demonstrate that.Her voice does not have a weak, whispery quality - it is a soft warm voice, and while her singing delivery is slow, it certainly isn't anything like "spoken." I'm not familiar with her career, but from this recording I would assume that she must have had a decent career in small clubs. If you are a fan of female vocalists you will probably enjoy her."
