"It must surely be a challenge for record companies to decide on a new Mantovani program. The program here is excellent, imaginative. One hears the haunting MOON RIVER in the best instrumental version of that Mancini favourite. One hears the very lovely MAIN THEME FROM EXODUS... oh my friends, do you know the sound of Mantovani? One hears the delicate and rythmic SOUNG FROM MOULIN ROUGE... reminiscent of Percy Faith. A pleasant surprise here is the inclusion of ELIZABETHAN SERENADE, even though the notes call for OUR LAST AFFAIR at no. 7. (The Ron Goodwin version is better, and also Richard Clayderman's). An almost dream program, and excellent value. The impeccable engineering sound here is remarkable. Buy and enjoy."
