Berlin has just finished recording a brand new studio album, entitled Animal, scheduled for release on September 17th. Animal incorporates contemporary electronic dance music, yet remains true to the groundbreaking synth electro-pop sounds and amazing vocals that continue to define Berlin. On Animal, Berlin teams up with some of the industry s most creative forces, including multi-platinum writer/producer, Bryan Todd, as well as pioneering mixers, John Alicastro and Mike Lauri. Berlin topped the charts with the unforgettable, intimate and strikingly beautiful love song, "Take My Breath Away." The ballad s defining role in the Tom Cruise film, Top Gun, has also helped solidify Berlin s everlasting place in American pop-culture. Since arriving on the music scene, Terri Nunn and Berlin have received a total of 12 gold and platinum album awards. Their number one international hit, "Take My Breath Away", not only received a Golden Globe Award for Song of the Year, but an Academy Award as well.
