Fidels Eyeglasses | new york city, new york United States | 06/17/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "At first this looks questionable... but if you play this, close your eyes and you can almost swear this is Beny Moré singing, but is a Cuban singer named Beny Santos.. who idolized Beny. Recorded in Havana. The band arragements are great! Big band like Benys.**THESE ARE DEFINITELY NOT Beny Moré tunes done "Salsa" style like the way Tito Puente did those two LP's years ago... this REALLY sounds like the Beny Moré band of the 1950's. One thing that's not mentioned here is that on one tune the late great "Raul Planas" sings a Beny Moré tune AND HE SOUNDS AWESOME! THIS CD REALLY SWINGS!!!!!!
