"I've came across with this CD in Ankara with almost no money on me. Tired of seeing CDs of Piano Concerto No.X or Symphony No.X, this CD was something a lot interesting.When I listened it, I realized that I was right. Beethoven's mandolin works are minor compared to other larger works but not poorer in musical structure. However mandolin was not a 'popular' instrument as violin then, nor can it play in such a broad spectrum of notes and amplitudes. However, it is a vital symbol of the musical alphabet to transmit feelings. I guess Beethoven was aware of that."
