Great "lost" Beethoven...

"Whether it's rock and roll, classical, jazz, or any type of music, I always find some of my favorite works in a composer's "B-side" stuff, items that aren't always the best known pieces in their repetoire. And that's what I've found here. So these are not even near "trifles." There's plenty of melody, drama, and humor--the same as in all of LVB's compositions. And Jando is a world class performer; don't let the "budget label" reputation keep you from buying this recording. It's a steal. Feel good about it, not scared. I have the other Jando/Beethoven recordings on Naxos as well, and they all deliver."
