CD ReviewsMoody and introspective Philip Lathby | Wausau, WI | 01/28/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "A great first release from this Champaign-Urbana, IL based band. Reminded me a lot of Son Volt and even some early R.E.M. Most of the songs are in a darker vein, but enough genuine emotion comes through to make it an enjoyable CD. My only real negative comment would be that some of the songs are repetitive sounding. Not enough to be distracting but enough so that it only gets 4 stars. If you like Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, and so-called "prarie-rock" buy this album you won't be disappointed."
