CD Reviews

Secret wonder

"Alot of punk these days is overplayed in the United States. When I first heard The Beatsteaks on an Epitaph Sampler, I knew there was more good from this german band. I really dont know anybody who likes this band besides me. But the confusing thing is that they sound so good. Its the kind of music you think punk rockers would praise as legends. Still, those who have heard the Beatsteaks, know how good they are. Just look at all the other reviewers 5 star ratings. This Cd is a classic, and will surely in the future be recognized as a great album."

"The Beatsteak's music is an example of new punk keeping the roots of the old. In Launched they present a blend of hardcore, ska, and mellodic punk into one exceptional album with an energy that is addictive. Every single song on this album has a sound that sets it apart from the others, unlike many punk albums that have been accused of having very redundant songs. The variety of songs range anywhere from the hardcore, "We Have to Figure It Out Tonight" to the blues rock sound at the beginning of "Kings of Metal." If you like any kind of punk and you like variety, I highly recommend this cd."
Very refreshing music

"That's all I could say about this without sounding repetitive with something like, "this is awesome" and such. It's so fun to listen to, and not a lot of music does that these days. It's funny when people ask about them and they're shocked when they find out these fellas are straight out of Deutschland. Rockt das Haus, Beatsteaks, great album and a great listen!"
