""OPEN" is the purest, most unsullied listening experience I have ever had. I would say, in point of fact, that it was not sullied at all. My experience, I mean. The listening one. You following?



Because I feel I bit disconnected today. I must have listened to "OPEN" for about 5 hours straight. I'm starting to get to that region of consciousness where the usual connections are just falling apart, man. Of course, it could just be fatigue.



Maybe I'll take a nap and see how the connections feel when I wake up. But listening to "OPEN" is a breeze. Just play it over and over. It's like cool clear creek water. There's nothing like it...there's nothing to it. It's disconnected from anything outside the box it's in, if you dig what I'm saying, man. OK, think about it.



I'm taking a nap. I will groove with you later. Maybe with some chianti and cheddar--that's very cool to wake up to. See you at the club? Bring some of your poetry, man. No? Well WRITE some! I'll be asleep for an hour at least. That gives you plenty of time. And, like, could YOU bring some chianti...or any dago red. I am flat OUT, man. I can get you some mike time for yr poetry, if you do, man."
