Album Description BEAST is a new collaboration between acclaimed singer Betty Bonifassi (DJ Champion, The Triplets of Bellevile) and Jean-Phi Goncalves drummer (Plaster) and producer (Lauryn Hill). The first single "Mr. Hurricane" was offered November 4, 2008 as iTunes Single of the Week in the U.S., Canada (Beast is based in Montreal) and 22 countries around the world. This early exposure has created a considerable buzz for the release of their debut album. A music video for "Mr. Hurricane" (with special effects by one of the main artistswho worked on the film 300) will be serviced in early February. Soul, rap, electronica, rock and jazz all collide in Beast. Betty calls it "Trip Rock". A dynamic and visceral live act who seamlessly integrate electronics and conventional instruments, Beast will perform at SXSW in March with further U.S. tour dates to be announced Similar CDs
