"From beginning to end 'bearsick' is Billy Harvey's best cd to date. 2nd to his "Pie" cd. He has a variety of styles of music on here that blend smoothly from one song to the next. My faves are "I May I May", "Softblade" and "Kaleidoscope Gun". Though there's not one in the bunch that I don't like."

"Saw this guy about a year ago with his one man band stage performance and it was impressive to say the least. This album has some gorgous haunting lyrics and melodies. "Scribblers heart" is my favorite, I burn it for all my friends and it is a truly sad song that is hard to forget. The songwriting and melodies are very interesting through out and may remind some of Beck in places but that comparison will drift."
